Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering and AI Leader to join our Google Cloud Practice. As a key contributor, you will design, build, and deploy cutting-edge data engineering, AI/ML Ops, and Generative AI solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Lead the development of data engineering solutions, including data ingestion, processing, storage, compliance, and governance on GCP.
  • AI/ML Ops: Design and implement AI/ML Ops pipelines, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Generative AI: Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, leveraging large language models and other advanced AI technologies.
  • Clients and Partnerships: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong history of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, including database design, querying, and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP data services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks, such as Langchain, TensorFlow, and Vertex AI.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and technologies, such as large language models and transformers.
What We Offer

NCS Australia offers a competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
