English Tutor Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic English tutors to work with students in Years 7-12 across the Hills District. As an English tutor, you will provide one-on-one sessions to assist students with their school work and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring services to students in English
• Assist students with homework and assignments
• Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress
• Maintain a professional relationship with students and parents

Requirements:

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Reside in or near the Hills District/Western Sydney
• Access to a car and/or laptop
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong grasp of essay, creative, and discursive writing
• Confidence in editing and proofreading

Working Conditions:

• Contract basis
• Flexible hours (2-15 per week)
• Afternoon and evening shifts available
• Monday to Friday and weekend availability
