We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our team and shape the financial future.

This senior leadership role will oversee financial accounting, banking, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable while playing a key role in commercial finance, performance management, and sustainability reporting.

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external audit processes and financial risks.
  • Oversee daily banking, cash control processes, supplier trading terms, and foreign exchange risk.
  • Implement new sustainability accounting standards to enhance transparency and accountability.
  • Manage tax obligations across Australia and New Zealand while optimizing taxation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team while driving strategic financial insights that support business growth.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in retail or large-format operations.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified.
  • Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial accounting standards, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience leading finance teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
