Lifeguard Opportunity

As a Lifeguard, you will provide high levels of patron supervision and safety while ensuring customers achieve enjoyment and service.

You are a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, well-developed time management skills, and a good understanding of aquatic centre operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (includes advanced resuscitation and pool rescue)
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Pool Plant Operators Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Swim Teaching Certificate
  • Basic computer skills including point of sales
  • Experience in a similar role, involving customer service or providing direction/instruction to others
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems and deal with complaints
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Aqua Jetty operates seven days per week. All shifts fall within the hours of operation.

Rockingham Aquatic Centre operates seven days per week during the months September to April. All shifts fall within these hours of operation.
