Casual Pathology Collector Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Casual Pathology Collector to join our team at QML Pathology. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients, build strong connections within local communities, and provide quality patient care.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaising with a range of different people including customers, clinic staff and couriers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector or have gained a Cert III in Pathology Collection. You may also be a Registered Nurse looking to swap weekend and overnight work for regular daytime casual shifts.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
