Executive Manager Business Performance

This role leads and inspires diverse teams to provide strategic commercial advice to the leadership team.

The Executive Manager of Business Performance oversees end-to-end performance reporting processes for RBS, drives business outcomes through commercial advice, and prepares high-quality presentations for senior management.

  • Oversight of weekly monthly quarterly half yearly performance reporting process;
  • Drive RBS business outcomes by providing strategic commercial advice;
  • Preparation of presentations for senior management including CEO results presentation peer reporting analysis and other specific projects;
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand drivers of financial and business performance;
  • Acting as key point of contact for CFO and Group Finance in relation to RBS business performance;
  • Driving implementation of data analytics strategy across uplifting capability technology and risk;
  • Supporting mitigation of risk by adopting a risk mindset contributing alongside other EMs to our financial risk and control framework;
  • Managing a team maintaining a high performing positive work culture focused on delivery customer engagement and skill development;
  • Shaping strategic direction for your team by prioritizing strategically important work influencing stakeholders and identifying areas for process improvement simplification and uplift;

Financial Services experience preferably in Retail Banking environment (10+ years); excellent problem solving analytical skills; commercial acumen ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously results driven strong leadership skills verbal and written communication skills managing senior stakeholders are desirable qualities.
