About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Financial Resilience Worker to join our team in Central Queensland.

This role involves providing financial support and assistance to adults experiencing personal, family, relationship and/or financial issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing face-to-face support and problem-solving to empower clients to take control of their finances.
  • Assisting individuals with managing their financial resources, including household budgets.
  • Conducting community education activities on financial literacy.
  • Responding to clients who require urgent assistance and have complex needs.
  • Utilizing brokerage funds to provide financial and material assistance to clients experiencing immediate financial crisis.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services, Finance or Business.
  • 2 years relevant experience.
