Warehouse Operative Position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing daily warehousing activities in a timely manner.

The role involves managing workloads and ensuring goods incoming and outgoing are processed efficiently and on time. This includes liaising with the retail store supervisor on stock requirements for the store and other designations.

Pick orders and ensure stock is ready for delivery. Rotate cold room products to minimise waste. Provide customer service as and when required. Ensure compliance to OHS procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily warehousing activities in a timely manner.
  • Manage workloads and ensure goods incoming and outgoing are processed efficiently and on time.
  • Liaise with the retail store supervisor on stock requirements for the store and other designations.
  • Pick orders and ensure stock is ready for delivery.
  • Rotate cold room products to minimise waste.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a reasonably busy warehouse environment.
  • Enjoy physical labour, loading and unloading bags / boxes of food product.
  • Previous experience with stock control and rotation of stock.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A team player who gets on with colleagues.
  • A hands-on commitment to get the job done.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • A valid driving license (manual) is desirable but not essential.
