This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a healthcare setting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support GP practices within the Primary Care Network by handling important administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process documents received by practices using established templates and protocols.
  • Refer any documents requiring further action to the appropriate GP practice team, following clear guidelines.

The role involves training through the Personalised Care Institute, which will help develop your skills as part of the national framework for Care Coordinators.

You will work in a collaborative team consisting of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues, so effective communication and teamwork are essential.

About the Role
  • Follow a set protocol to decide which documents to process and code accordingly.
  • File documents received by GP practices accurately.
  • Conduct daily audits by running searches in EMIS web to ensure data quality.
  • Participate in weekly huddles to collaborate with team members, share knowledge and skills, and improve the service.

Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE or A Level standard in English and Maths.
  • Demonstrate evidence of continued personal development.
  • Enrolled in, willing to undertake, or previously completed the Personalised Care Institute training.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in complex administrative procedures.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Background in a healthcare setting.
  • Able to work effectively within a team.
