Job Overview

Bayside P-12 College is a large multi-campus educational institution that serves the community of Melbourne's western metropolitan area. The college has a diverse student population with varying backgrounds and experiences.

The college offers a comprehensive curriculum across eight Learning Areas and a range of VCE and VET units. We have an excellent VCAL program and provide support for integration students and those requiring special education.

Our co-curricular activities aim to promote social, personal, and community skills among our students. These include Foundation Day, year level and adventure camps, excursions, debating, drama, and band performances. Our annual visit from our 'sister' school in Japan is also a highlight.

Each campus is designed to facilitate the delivery of a broad curriculum. Our facilities include state-of-the-art learning spaces, athletic tracks, gymnasiums, swimming pools, sports complexes, Science Works, theatres, and local council resources.

We are committed to achieving the following priorities over the next three years:

  • To enhance student English and Mathematics levels at years 7-10.
  • To improve VCE achievement levels.
  • To extend pathways available to students.
  • To promote student engagement and wellbeing.

  • SC2 Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions for students in response to identified needs.
  • SC3 Demonstrated capacity to provide effective support to students experiencing mental health issues.
