As a senior tax consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering expert tax advice to clients across various industries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research and providing comprehensive tax guidance to clients and their related groups.
  • Offering strategic tax planning and consulting services on complex transactions, including business acquisitions, international expansion, and property deals.
  • Handling corporate tax matters such as consolidations, taxation of financial assets, division 7A, and Small Business CGT Concessions.
  • Developing innovative tax strategies and structuring solutions for clients.
  • Providing expert consulting services related to GST, payroll tax, and other indirect taxes.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Laws or Commerce is essential for this role.
  • Progress towards a Master's in Taxation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • You should have at least 2-3 years of experience in tax consulting, preferably from a legal or accounting background.
