Master Artisan Baker

We are seeking an experienced and passionate baker to join our team in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality artisan bread.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of artisan bread products, including sourdough loaves and specialty breads.
  • Perform skilled cutting, moulding and mixing dough skills for artisan bread and sourdough bread products.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times.
  • Scale, shape and score loaves to ensure finished baked products meet quality standards.
  • Mix and process dough, set time and temperature for the best proving and baking procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a baker/pastry cook in a commercial bakery setting.
  • Knowledge of traditional baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
