Strategic Health Adviser Role

The role of the Strategic Health Adviser contributes to the Department's strategic aspiration that all Victorians are safe, healthy and able to lead a life they value.

This position involves key projects and initiatives requiring community, inter-sectoral and whole-of-government engagement, collaboration and action to address health and wellbeing determinants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize planning, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic responses to health and community wellbeing needs of the Central Highlands Area.
  • Assist in translating research/data/evidence to gain clearer insights into health, social, cultural and environmental priorities for the Area.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver community development programs and evidence-based interventions improving overall health outcomes.
