Primary School Educator

Our team is seeking an energetic and passionate educator to join us in Murarrie (East Brisbane CBD) on a Casual basis. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in creating incredible experiences for primary-aged children.
The role involves ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the children in our programs. You will also support and facilitate creative experiences & activities that wholeheartedly engage children, cultivate a welcoming and nurturing environment, and play with primary school aged children.
Shifts are generally between 6.00am - 9.00am and 2.30pm - 6.30pm at the latest.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and most importantly, a can-do attitude
- A current Blue Card, First Aid in an education setting (or willing to obtain), Child Protection certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Qualified or studying towards an ACECQA approved qualification (education related fields, community services, sport & recreation, youth work, etc)
