About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Psychologist to join our team at MediRecruit Australia Pty, a specialist healthcare recruitment and career advisory service. This is a full-time position, with part-time considered, in a busy GP clinic in Newcastle.
About the Role
As a Psychologist in this role, you will have the opportunity to run your own private practice clinic, with full business and admin support provided by our team. You will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology
- AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
- Minimum of 2 years private practice experience
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management (desirable)
- Ambitious and self-driven individual with excellent communication and networking skills
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
