About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Formulation Chemist to join our team at Eureka, a proud business partner of Elders. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for developing formulations, creating test samples, and scaling up product candidates for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product formulations, ensuring high-quality outcomes and meeting customer requirements.
• Conduct quality control testing of finished products, raw materials, and environmental samples to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create procedures for the manufacture of new products.
• Communicate project progress and any issues or risks to the laboratory manager.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables to ensure optimal functionality.

About You

• You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant science discipline, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or formulation science.
• You possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in your role.
• You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You have proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You exhibit well-developed planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• You have strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges effectively.
• Experience in a research and development environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with agricultural or veterinary chemicals is an advantage.
