Job Opportunity

A dynamic individual is required to drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs.

  • Drive a vehicle designed for trolley collection, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Collect and push trolleys up a ramp onto the vehicle, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough collections of trolleys left in and around stores, returning them to designated bays.
  • Perform pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle, adhering to established procedures.
  • Adhere to all operational and safety processes related to vehicle operation and trolley collection, prioritizing employee and customer well-being.
  • Comply with road rules and report any issues regarding unretrievable trolleys.
  • Additionally, engage in cleaning and waste disposal tasks as required.

Training and assessment in operating the trolley collection vehicles will be provided.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess an ambitious mindset, a passion for retail, and a love for people.
  • Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers license or Provisional P2 drivers license (Green P Plates), or full International drivers License.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness, enabling safe and efficient transitioning between driving and physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout shifts.
  • Be available to work across Monday-Sunday, with shifts starting at 6am or 4pm.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and as part of a cohesive team.
