Ember Advisors is a rapidly growing advisory firm where every project is designed with purpose. We are currently recruiting Data Science Impact Consultants to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

As a Data Science Impact Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex project questions into actionable insights. Your expertise in data analytics, problem-solving, and client relationship management will be essential as you collaborate to deliver high-impact solutions.

We are looking for analytical thinkers with a strategic problem-solving mindset, a passion for driving impact, and a collaborative spirit. You'll bring your experience in data science, statistical analysis, or consulting to solve meaningful challenges. Our ideal candidates are curious, accountable, and ready to lead junior colleagues to deliver insights that count.

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Data Science Impact Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and apply appropriate analytical methodologies for project workstreams.
  • Synthesise and interpret complex data results, translating them into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to frame key challenges and define the scope of solutions based on their needs.
  • Manage the workflow and progress of your personal work or workstream, ensuring timely analysis and development of high-quality deliverables.
  • Draft compelling, clear, and insightful products tailored for client understanding, in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Present content effectively and persuasively in verbal communications with clients.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and consent to obtaining Australian Government security clearance. Candidates will demonstrate capability and potential across all of Ember's performance domains: problem solving, analytics, synthesis, communication, client engagement, team work/team leadership, and project/self management.

The ideal candidate will have a university qualification in a relevant degree (distinction average or higher preferred) and be Australian citizens.
