Job Title

The role of a Data Engineer / ETL Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend, ensuring alignment with government data standards and compliance requirements.

This position involves supporting the integration of data from multiple internal and external government sources into centralised data platforms to enable evidence-based decision-making. You will deploy, monitor, and maintain ETL workflows within AWS cloud environments, leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue in accordance with government cloud policy.

  • Design and implement scalable technical solutions to support business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams including data architects, business analysts, and policy stakeholders.
  • Implement rigorous data quality, validation, and governance controls, ensuring integrity, traceability, and auditability of all data processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure handling of sensitive and confidential data in line with government privacy and cybersecurity frameworks.
