A leading government agency is seeking an experienced Cloud Test Analyst to support the testing of a cloud-based data storage system integrated with an air traffic management platform.
This hands-on role involves leadership responsibility, contributing to the security, reliability, and compliance of high-assurance data systems in a highly regulated environment.
- 10 month contract with 12 months extension option.
- Open to multiple locations including ACT, QLD,VIC
- Australian citizens with an active NV1 security clearance.
- Hybrid role (3 days in office and 2 days WFH).
Test Planning & Management
- Develop tailored test plans for cloud-integrated systems
- Define defect management plans and lead triage processes
- Ensure alignment with aviation safety and data protection regulations
Test Design & Execution
- Analyse requirements and design system, integration, and end-to-end test cases
- Validate key AWS services (e.g. encryption, access control, storage, logging)
- Test data flow and interfaces between PDS and ATM systems
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with developers, cloud engineers, testers, and SMEs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Document test outcomes, risks, and provide actionable reporting
- Minimum 5+ years of software testing, with at least 1 year in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS)
- Strong experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA and XRAY
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and data lifecycle
- Experience with automated testing and complex system integrations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification
- AWS or relevant Cloud Certification (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
- Familiarity with aviation standards, ATM systems, or safety-critical environments
- Experience in systems requiring data integrity and redundancy
