About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dentist to join our team as a Dental Service Officer in a part-time temporary basis until October 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe, effective, efficient, and quality paediatric dental service to the outpatients of the Women's & Children's Hospital and affiliated agencies.
  • Encourage and support teamwork and coordination amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes.
  • Develop a strategic approach to the planning and evaluation of Paediatric Dental services.
  • Maintain a program of quality and safety improvement through continuing professional development, department meetings, and departmental audits.
About You

To be eligible, you must have registration as a Dentist and a Dental Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia.

You will have to demonstrate significant experience in the clinical care of paediatric patients with complex oral presentations.

You should have experience in providing supervision to staff and teaching and guiding junior staff and students.
