About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investigator or Lawyer to join our Markets Enforcement team at ASIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting investigations and litigation to enforce market integrity and protect investors and consumers in Australia's financial system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to identify and prosecute market misconduct
  • Work with our multi-disciplinary team to analyze regulatory breaches and develop enforcement strategies
  • Present findings and recommendations to executives and the Commission
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP), to secure criminal convictions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant investigative and/or litigation experience in financial services, a regulatory environment, law enforcement, criminal or corporate and commercial law. You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to manage complex legal or investigative cases.
