Elite Foil Coach Opportunity

A distinguished leader is sought to spearhead our elite foil program, driving the club's reputation forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy for elite athletes\
  • Foster strong relationships with athletes, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive team environment\
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, emphasizing continuous improvement and sportsmanship\
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to share best practices and drive team success\
  • Maintain accurate records of athlete progress and performance metrics\
  • Contribute to the development of coaching programs, workshops, and events\
  • Promote a safe and inclusive training environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines\
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices\
  • Assist in planning and executing competitions, tournaments, and other events\
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to athletes, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes\
  • Support the development of a positive team culture, emphasizing respect, empathy, and open communication\

Requirements:

  • Proven coaching ability and extensive experience in Foil\
  • Demonstrated track record of training and developing elite athletes\
  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities\
  • Experience working with athletes of varying skill levels and ages\
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team\
  • Familiarity with competition rules and regulations\
  • Basic first aid certification and knowledge of safety protocols\
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation\
  • Sports management software proficiency (e.g., TeamSnap, SportsEngine)\
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills\
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred\
