About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lithgow, NSW. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, operating vehicles, and implementing safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with equipment maintenance to meet operational requirements.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including hook lift trucks and Manitou.
  • Implement safety procedures for maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Input maintenance data into our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Assist with equipment upgrades and commissioning, ensuring optimal plant performance.
  • Attend plant breakdowns out of hours, providing timely and effective support.
  • Coordinate contractors on site, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage stores and parts, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Support operational staff as required, providing assistance with tasks and projects.
  • Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current truck licence.
  • HR licence (essential).
  • Experience in large-scale water treatment, process operations, or industrial processes.
