The role of Senior Medical Editor requires a strong understanding of FDA, EU, and industry standards to ensure documents meet sponsor and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include representing the editorial group in medical writing, study teams, and cross-departmental project teams; monitoring timelines and budgets; providing technical support and expertise; conducting training and serving as a mentor.

As a project lead, you will schedule and lead internal team meetings, organize project-specific requirements, and ensure all information is distributed and implemented within deliverables.

Additionally, you will copyedit assigned documents, perform quality reviews, and contribute to process improvement tools and policy development.

This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
