We're seeking a highly skilled Equipment Operations Specialist to join our team at Kennards Hire in Richmond.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment hire services, including expert advice, pickups, deliveries and maintenance.

This is a critical role that requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail. As the Equipment Operations Specialist, you'll be the face of Kennards Hire to our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met.

About the Role:

  • Instruct and demonstrate to customers on how to safely use our equipment.
  • Perform pickup and delivery of equipment from customer sites, including safely loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions.
  • Maintain the high standard and quality of equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  • Perform cleaning of branch facilities and maintenance of equipment as required.

About You:

  • A valid driver's licence is essential for this role.
  • You'll need to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.
  • A level of physical fitness is required due to the demands of the job.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
  • An interest in machinery and equipment is desirable, although training will be provided.
