Treat Deliverer Volunteer

Braeside Hospital is a specialist mental health and rehabilitation center seeking volunteers to bring joy to our patients by delivering treats and drinks on a trolley.
As social visitors, you will have a rewarding experience both for the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.
We rely on a wonderful group of volunteers to enhance the care we provide at Braeside Hospital.
The ideal candidate will be aged 18 years or over and able to commit to regular volunteering hours. They must also meet our immunisation standards, including HepB, Measles mumps and rubella, Tetanus, and influenza, or be willing to discuss meeting these requirements.
Available volunteering hours are on Monday, Wednesday, or Sunday afternoons (12pm-1pm) or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings (4-5pm).
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This volunteer position provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
