Job Overview

As a skilled Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing structural components, leading teams, and performing complex analysis and calculations. You will work on highway and bridge projects, utilizing advanced engineering software to develop and review structural designs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Structural Design and Implementation: Develop and review structural designs using advanced engineering software and techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Complex Analysis and Calculations: Conduct detailed structural analysis and calculations to guarantee the integrity and safety of designs.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Verify that all designs adhere to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate design concepts and address project requirements with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on highway and bridge projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, LUSAS, Midas Civil, Strand 7, or equivalent.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Main Roads WA standards and engineering practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
