Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leader to drive a major campus development in the Cairns CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and collaborative individual who can manage complex projects, engage stakeholders, and deliver results-oriented outcomes.

About the Position
  • Lead the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate experience leading infrastructure projects of $50M+ in all phases—from design and tendering to construction, commissioning, and completion.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of project management frameworks, with strong capabilities in scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements, including Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, and local authority regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including preparing clear reports, submissions, and tenders, and negotiating effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
