Job Title: Learning Support Teacher">

The role of a Learning Support Teacher is to provide targeted, individualised educational support for students with diverse learning needs.

This involves working closely with the Director of Learning Support and the LEAPS Coordinator to ensure that students are equipped for academic success, social development, and life in the wider community.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students who have significant social and academic challenges within the mainstream classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified teacher with a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). You will also require experience working with students with diverse learning profiles, as well as high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
