AV Installation Specialist

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for installing and integrating commercial AV systems, including displays, projectors, racks, and control systems. This role is ideal for experienced AV technicians who want to work on high-quality system installations and integrations.

About the Role
  1. Install and integrate commercial AV systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
  2. Run cabling, terminate, mount, and fault-test AV/IT equipment, guaranteeing optimal performance
  3. Commission and program systems such as Crestron, AMX, Biamp, QSC, Extron, and Q-SYS, ensuring smooth operation
  4. Interpret CAD/schematic drawings and follow technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and precision
  5. Provide onsite integration support, testing, and troubleshooting, resolving issues efficiently
  6. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver end-to-end AV solutions, meeting customer expectations
Requirements
  • Strong experience in AV installation and integration within commercial environments
  • Proficient in commissioning, testing, and fault-finding AV systems
  • Knowledge of DSP programming and system integration (Biamp/Q-SYS, QSC, etc.) highly regarded
  • Ability to read drawings/schematics and follow technical plans
  • Electrical installation or structured cabling experience desirable
  • VIC driver's licence & valid construction white card required
