Building Materials Customer Service Assistant

This is an entry-level Customer Service Representative position in our building materials supply area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, cutting lumber to size, and ensuring the display areas are safe and orderly.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, advising on selection of building materials, and promoting sales growth through effective communication skills.
- Lumber Cutting: Cut lumber and related materials to customer specifications with precision and accuracy.
- Loading Assistance: Assist customers with loading purchased materials into their vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain organized and secure display areas by straightening materials and covering exposed items when required.
This role requires heavier lifting and basic knowledge of building materials. Bilingualism is considered an asset, and weekend availability is necessary. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications: Entry-level position with basic knowledge of building materials, heavier lifting capabilities, and good physical condition. Preferred qualifications include bilingualism and flexibility in scheduling.
