Seeking a dynamic and dedicated General Adult Psychiatrist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a well-established multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide senior consultant input to a 22 bedded acute ward.

The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist and flexibility to work on a part-time basis if desired. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to broaden their experience of inpatient psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a challenging yet supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively as part of a team. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the trust's mental health services and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC License to practice
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12/RC approval is essential
