Compensation Package

We are offering an attractive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, to lead our pharmacometrics team in delivering strategic business objectives. This compensation package reflects the importance of this role in driving growth and excellence within our organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a senior leader in our Quantitative Science Services (QSS) team, responsible for spearheading critical efforts in talent recruitment, resource optimization, and consultant skill development. You will work closely with the Global Lead of QSS to determine and implement strategies for optimizing business processes across the team, collaborating with commercial and operations teams within IDD, and promoting a culture of collaboration across CDDS and Certara business units.

  • Project lead for operationally complex projects, including hands-on contributions to select projects.
  • Senior resource for project teams reviewing work product, discussing project and/or client engagement strategy.

You will also be responsible for coordinating QSS leadership meetings, driving agenda development, monitoring follow-up, and optimizing meeting cadence and attendees as needed. Additionally, you will support the IDD Operations team in implementing and optimizing operational processes within QSS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate QSS leadership meetings; drive agenda, monitor follow up, optimize meeting cadence and meeting attendees as needed.
  • Drive optimization of resource allocation to PMx projects – develop robust yet nimble resourcing approach.
  • Support the IDD Operations team with the implementation and optimization of operational processes within QSS.
  • Coordinate recruitment for QSS – ensure that hiring targets are met, yet organizational balance (senior vs junior, distribution of skills sets) is maintained.
  • Lead special projects that are aimed at strengthening the global footprint and effectiveness of QSS consultancy operations.
  • Be the point person for business development team to identify SMEs for scoping calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD, MD, PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry/consulting experience working in R&D, pre-clinical and clinical environments.
  • Good understanding of multiple modeling and simulation techniques and multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in moving compounds through different phases of development and elements of clinical trial design and conduct.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in a project team setting.
  • Experience in direct interactions with regulatory agencies is a plus.
