Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons to students in our swim school program.
  • Develop and maintain lesson plans to ensure consistency and quality in our lessons.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions with customers and parents.

Selection Criteria

  • Current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Current Paid Working with Children Check.
  • A high level of customer service delivery skills.
  • Energy and enthusiasm and a desire to help people.
  • Ability to problem solve and work within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a customer service facing role.
  • Experience interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A strong customer service orientation and strong work ethic.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, inclusive of before and after working hours, as well as weekends.
  • Have a good understanding of responsibilities under the National Child Safe Standards and have a strong commitment to advocating for and protecting children.
