Senior Cloud Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures on GCP or AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor and maintain platforms to industry standards, fostering a culture of proactive improvement and stability.
  • Make technical decisions, effectively communicate with senior teams, and collaborate to estimate work, prioritize business outcomes, and manage projects.
  • Lead technical efforts, leveraging broad experience and working efficiently with other senior professionals.
  • Analyze system architecture, remain composed during high-pressure incidents, and drive innovation.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in System Administration with GCP or AWS.
  • Strong focus on delivery, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Technical leadership qualities, analytical mindset, and composure during high-pressure incidents.
  • Proven production experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash Scripting, Jenkins, Maven, capacity planning, and performance testing.
  • Desirable experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, or New Relic.
