About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Obs and Gynae Specialist to join our enthusiastic and supportive team. The successful candidate will have completed advanced RANZCOG training and be eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.

About the Department

The Obstetrics and Gynecology department at our hospital is a tertiary referral centre with over 2200 births each year. We have a strong focus on generalist O&G training as well as dedicated clinics for maternal fetal medicine presentations, gynaecology oncology, vulval disorders, urodynamics/pelvic floor surgery, pregnancy choices and a hospital supported homebirth program.

We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

  • Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Completed advanced RANZCOG training and now eligible to complete further training.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact positively as a team member in a cross-cultural work environment.
  • A demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving Indigenous women's health.
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing education, teaching, research and quality assurance activities.
