Job Title: Clinical Project Manager

This is a part-time position that requires the candidate to oversee and participate in the setup, conduct, and close-out of clinical trials. The role involves supporting and guiding a team of clinical trial professionals to ensure consistent trial delivery and protocol adherence.

The ideal candidate will have extensive relevant experience, preferably at management level, and a strong understanding of the clinical study process, ICH-GCP guidelines, and relevant local regulations and quality principles for conducting clinical research.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and participate in the setup, conduct, and close-out of clinical trials.
  • Support and guide a team of clinical trial professionals.
  • Work closely with investigators, sponsors, Contract Research Organisations (CROs), and institutional partners.
  • Represent the organisation in governance meetings, steering committees, and other stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage trial timelines and resource allocation across multiple concurrent studies.
  • Negotiate research agreements and manage clinical trial/study budgets.
  • Contribute to all stages of the clinical trial lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Science or related discipline.
  • Extensive relevant experience, preferably at management level.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical study process, ICH-GCP guidelines, and relevant local regulations and quality principles for conducting clinical research.
  • Sound knowledge of the clinical trials regulatory environment.
  • Experience preparing health-related regulatory, ethics, and governance submissions.
  • Experience supporting grant submissions and contributing to funding proposals/trial costings.
