Residential Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Services Assistant to join our team at Northeast Health Wangaratta.
Job Description- This part-time, fixed-term contract will see you working 48 hours per fortnight, with an opportunity to contribute to the success of our Residential Aged Care facility.
Northeast Health Wangaratta is a major health provider in the Central Hume region, offering a comprehensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, novated leasing and full salary packaging benefits available. Additionally, you'll enjoy 5 weeks annual leave and an additional week for any employee working 10 or more weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with kitchen duties, cleaning duties, and interacting with our residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Undertake catering and cleaning duties within the two wards, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
- Contribute to the overall well-being of our residents by providing exceptional support and care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A strong understanding of residential aged care principles and food presentation.
- The ability to complete the Hygiene for Food Handlers course following commencement.
