As a Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
About the Hospital:
Our hospital is a modern and progressive public hospital that operates 180 beds and provides a broad range of specialist services. We have a strong commitment to education and training, and we work closely with the University of Newcastle to support the development of our staff.
About the Department:
The Department of Geriatric Medicine has a Geriatrician working within the hospital and another based in the community, providing clinics and in-reach services to Residential Aged Care Facilities. We also have a Nurse Practitioner working in a collaborative care model.
Requirements:
- FRACP in Geriatric Medicine or substantially comparable
