Job Title:

Strategic Advisor for Indigenous Partnerships

This role plays a critical part in the development, implementation and coordination of our organization's Tomorrow strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan project planning.

The successful candidate will lead and develop project briefs, project plans and stakeholder maps, facilitate project team meetings and provide post-implementation project governance support and advice.

They will engage relevant senior management on the implementation for the Tomorrow strategy and lead the successful implementation of the YTT Strategy project planning through the utilisation of Project Management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Governance:
    • Develop project briefs, project plans and stakeholder maps
    • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure projects are delivered to scope, time and budget
    • Provide post-implementation project governance support and advice
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management:
    • Identify, build and strengthen internal and external relationships to inform and support delivery of business outcomes
    • Interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Traditional Owners, specialist consultants and government departments
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, supported by experience in strategy development and stakeholder engagement
  • Considerable experience in supporting business processes and communications for a government or large corporation
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, highly developed verbal/written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage key stakeholders at senior management levels and current knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and frameworks
