We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team as a Paediatric Neurologist and Epilepsy Expert. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to children with neurological disorders, including investigation and management of refractory epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to inpatients with a range of neurological disorders.
- Conduct subspecialist outpatient clinics in paediatric epilepsy.
- Manage complex epilepsy patients and be actively involved in our Comprehensive Epilepsy Program.
- Supervise and report routine EEG, ambulatory, and video-EEG recordings.
- Perform teaching activities within the department.
- Supervise junior medical staff and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in clinical meetings and respect confidentiality.
- Ensure rigorous documentation of consultations, treatment plans, and other aspects of care.
- Ensure handover of patient care and follow-up arrangements.
- Be accountable for care delivered by junior medical staff.
- Participate in resolving problems in care and ensure team leader awareness.
- Current National Criminal Record Check.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Compliance with our Staff Immunisation procedure.
