Role Summary:

The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will conduct maintenance on aircraft and their components, exercising abilities and license coverage as directed by the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting maintenance on aircraft and their components
  • Exercising abilities and license coverage as directed by the Engineering Manager
  • Ensuring good housekeeping practices to ensure all work is conducted in line with company procedures
  • Acting as a Job Coordinator during maintenance activities to meet requirements of CAR30 and/or Part145 MOE
  • Issuing Maintenance Releases
  • Being fully conversant with airworthiness requirements pertaining to maintenance of aircraft and in particular CAR Schedule 6

Requirements:

  • A valid CASA Part 66 license with AW109, AW139 & AW169 desirable
  • Certificate 4 in Aeroskills (Mechanical) and/or (Avionics) or higher required
  • A valid ASIC card and current Human factors training necessary
