About the Role

This is a permanent position in a dynamic healthcare setting where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including paediatric and adult clients. Your primary responsibilities will include assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders, design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices, and development and implementation of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Design, trial and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
  • Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GPs
  • Providing education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/staff

Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
  • New/Fresh graduates with good clinical experience welcome to apply
