Speech Pathologist

This is a permanent position in a dynamic healthcare setting where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including paediatric and adult clients. Your primary responsibilities will include assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders, design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices, and development and implementation of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
- Design, trial and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices
- Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
- Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
- Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GPs
- Providing education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/staff
- A generous base salary + travel allowance + superannuation
- Support and mentoring from Senior SP
- Annual professional development fund and ongoing opportunities for professional development
- Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA
- Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
- Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Current driver's license and own vehicle
- New/Fresh graduates with good clinical experience welcome to apply
