Library Officer

Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Library Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional customer service to the community.

• Deliver library services to the community, including operations, administration, and customer support
• Develop and implement programs, services, and events to engage with the community
• Monitor and maintain library facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
• Provide technical support and assistance to community members
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve council goals and objectives

• Positive and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Current Queensland Class C Drivers Licence
• Queensland working with children blue card or ability to obtain
• First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
• Justice of the Peace - Queensland or ability to obtain
