Job Title

This is a challenging role that requires overseeing numerous aspects of coatings operations, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Coatings Supervisor, you will lead a team of industrial blasters/painters, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

  • Lead and supervise a team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Inspect and evaluate coatings on various substrates (steel, concrete, etc.) to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures on site.
  • Train and mentor junior employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot coating application issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leads and directs a team of coating specialists to achieve project objectives.
  2. Conducts thorough inspections of coatings applied to various substrates to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  3. Prepares and submits detailed inspection reports to management.
  4. Manages project schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
  5. Ensures all personnel adhere to safety protocols and procedures on site.
  6. Provides training and guidance to junior employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  8. Collaborates with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  9. Identifies and resolves coating application issues through effective troubleshooting and corrective action implementation.
