About the Opportunity

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking enthusiastic and fun-loving educators to work on a casual basis at our Star of the Sea Long Day Care & Kindergarten in Cleveland. As a Casual Educator, you will have the opportunity to harness work-life balance and control your hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with children to create engaging and educational experiences that support their well-being and development.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
  • Contribute to the development of our children's lifelong love of learning.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
  • Participate in professional and personal development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or be studying or willing to enrol in study.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
