We are seeking a skilled financial professional to manage payroll and accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including weekly and monthly payments, timesheets, and employee setup.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation is crucial in this role.
In addition to payroll duties, the candidate will support accounts receivable, handling invoicing, collections, and client queries.
BAS / GST lodgements will also be a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in payroll management, with strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand legislation.
A background in ELMO payroll is preferred but not essential.
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail are must-haves for this role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
CPA qualification is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly and monthly payroll for Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage payroll queries, timesheets, and employee setup.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax, etc.
- Handle STP reporting and daily bank reconciliations.
- Support accounts receivable: invoicing, collections, and client queries.
- BAS / GST lodgements.
- 4+ years' payroll experience across Australia and New Zealand, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
- ELMO payroll experience preferred, not essential.
- High attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
- Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
- CPA qualification (or working towards) is desirable, but not essential.
