Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Memorial House Café is a new social hub serving museum visitors, volunteers, retirement living and residential care residents, and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and attend to customer requirements in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages as a skilled barista.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the café, food prep, and service areas.
  • Monitor and rotate stock, restock supplies as needed.
  • Cash handle, register use, and daily balancing.
  • Support staff when present, providing guidance or supervision.
  • Represent our organisation through genuine community-oriented service.
Requirements
  • Must have RSA certification.
  • Significant barista experience and/or certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment).
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
