Confectionery Batch Production Specialist

We are seeking a hands-on batch maker to support our day-to-day operations in a fast-paced confectionery environment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for food processing and batching, including weighing, blending, and mixing ingredients according to recipes. You will also be expected to assemble and disassemble machinery and complete thorough clean downs of workstations and surrounding areas at the end of each shift.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Food processing and batching - Weighing, blending and mixing ingredients according to recipes
  • Assembling and disassembling of machinery and completing thorough clean down of workstation and surrounding areas at the end of each shift
  • Manage the opening and closing of production by following strict guidelines, either working individually or with small teams
  • Accurately record daily productivity
  • Food handling and preparation, including measuring and sorting raw ingredients

A strong focus on food safety and hygiene is essential for this role, as well as physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 30kg.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years' experience in a similar role within FMCG
  • Experience operating machinery, batch making and process work
  • Good understanding of GMP, HACCP and WHS
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
  • Must have own steel cap work boots
  • Must hold a current forklift truck operation licence and have experience using a forklift
